Jen Scott is a speaker, Bible teacher, ministry leader, and lifelong student of God’s Word with more than 30 years of experience serving and leading in the local church.
Known for combining biblical depth with honesty, humor, and real-life storytelling, Jen has a passion for helping women encounter God in the middle of the lives they are actually living, not simply the lives they imagined they would have.
Throughout her years in ministry, Jen has led and developed ministries for women, children, families, and ministry leaders. She has built teams, developed leaders, created ministry programs from the ground up, and spent decades walking alongside people through both ordinary life and seasons of significant change.
Jen’s teaching often centers on faith, perseverance, identity, leadership, and what it looks like to remain deeply rooted in Christ through seasons of change, disappointment, waiting, and uncertainty. A verse that has increasingly shaped both her life and her teaching is Hebrews 10:39: “But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.” This truth has also become the heartbeat behind the book Jen is currently writing—a message about refusing to shrink back when life, loss, disappointment, or even ministry itself tempts us to become a smaller version of who God has called us to be. An author in the making, Jen believes some of our most meaningful stories are written in the seasons we never would have chosen.
Whether she is speaking to a room of women, ministry leaders, students, or a small gathering around a table, Jen’s desire is the same, to make the truth of Scripture memorable and deeply personal.
Jen is the mother of five sons, mother-in-law to a growing crew of daughters, and grandmother to some of her very favorite people. When she isn’t teaching, writing, or dreaming up her next idea, you’ll likely find her with a book, gathering people around a table, planning her next adventure, or finding another reason to travel to Greece.
